Cattle Station

Established pre-WWII, PNGFP’s cattle farm covers 600 hectares. Employing nine staff, the farm carries over a thousand head of cattle and supplies beef to the supermarket, butchery and Country Club.

We are in the process of improving our pastures and establishing fodder crops to increase the weights of our finishing cattle.

Poultry Farm

PNGFP’s Bulolo Fresh poultry operation continues to grow, with the addition of six new poultry sheds, increasing the total number of sheds to thirteen. The expansion boosts processing capacity from approximately 14,500 birds to more than 41,000 birds, with around 30,000 birds processed monthly.

Our Bulolo Fresh Chicken products are distributed by Ling’s Freezer and retail at FoodMart in Lae, as well as being available at No.1 Stoa in Bulolo.

Bowling Club

With well maintained greens, Bulolo Bowling Club has an active membership and hosts major National events. A number of its members have represented PNG in international competitions over the years, including the Commonwealth Games in Australia, India, Canada and Scotland.

Parks & Sporting Fields

Sporting fields are used by the staff, their families and the larger community virtually every weekend. Soccer, volleyball and basketball are popular with Pikinini Soccer being introduced in mid 2019. The Bulolo Park was renamed Somare Park in 2021 with a specially made pedestal and plaque in dedication to the late Sir Michael Somare.
